The Mission Work from Brasil. I arrived in São Paulo, Brazil January 23,along with Elder and Mo. VanZandt. Bishop Moore was already here. We arrived in Saracuruna, Duque de Caxias Brazil on the 8th of February at the Paivas resident.
We went to the different churches, Bishop Moore spoke at the church, and Mother VanZandt. We went to check on the property for the Orphanage. It looks bad now, but it will require lots of work. We went to the quest house, Mother VanZandt and I. It won´t be completed until another month.
I am working with the Church Missions, we are doing street ministry every Saturday with the Mission Dept. And souls are getting saved. Twenty five souls have come to the Lord so far. It is a wonderful experience doing ministry on streets and knocking on doors.
We are ministering in Pastor Henrique Barauma area, where he is building a new church.
We are ministering in the Queimados area as well, this area is very poor.
The Women´s first District Anniversary was March 26, 28. The churches of Primavera, Caxias, and Saracuruna, had meeting each night. DeAndra was here from Fortaleza and on Thursday night spoke at the Caxias Church Of God In Christ. Sis. Ednava and I spoke at Primavera C.O.G.I.C.
I had to find my place here in the work of the ministry. So the Lord gave me to teach English to the Brazilians, even though I don´t know the Portuguese language well.
I teach English on Monday and Wednesday nights, from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. I have two classes now. Cristina teaches the second class. We have an average of twenty-five students, children and adults, that’s awsome. Praise to Deus (God).
The Church The Churches here are doing a wonderful work. Bethel is now pastored by a new pastor, his name is Pr. Fábio Barbosa Alcântara, from Pastor Paiva´s.
