The Church Of God In Christ in the Philippines presently has over 47 churches and other related auxiliaries (such as schools, etc.). Our Bishop Abel B. Forto is our Jurisdictional Bishop.

We praise God for His mercies to the people of the Philippines and we are greatly encouraged by His unconditional love.

There is so very much that is being done by the Church Of God In Christ - Philippines Jurisdiction, yet there is so very much more yet to do!

The Philippines Jurisdiction presently has four schools for our children:
1. Antioch Garden C.O.G.I.C. School in the city of Bulacan, Pastor Salam is in charge;
2. Bishop C. D. Owens Bible College and Elementary School in the city of Angeles City, Bishop Abel Forto in charge;
3. Grace Christian Academy C.O.G.I.C. in the city of San Jose, Pastor Raul Mendoza in charge;
4. Jesus Is Lord C.O.G.I.C. School in the city of Maragondon, Pastor Pablo Tapino in charge.

There is a great need to place C.O.G.I.C. teachers in all of the classrooms of our schools, however we just simply can not afford the cost for a certified and SAVED teachers. The cost per teacher (per month) is approximately $ 400.00.

Although the official language is English, there are 125 different dialects and one village might speak one dialect and another village might speak a different dialect.........consequently, neither village can understand what people form the other villages are saying!!!!! Many people speak a language which is a 'mixture' of English, French and Spanish and they call it 'Tagalog'.

None-the-less, we are in need of educational material (in English) for the churches and the schools.
Because of the very simple diet of the population (which is usually beans and/or rice), to provide a feeding program within the respective schools is a dream I have often had. It would cost approximately $ 250.00 to $ 300.00 to feed an ENTIRE school per month. The cost varies from school to school depending on the geographical location.

Many of the villages and living areas are experiencing great starvation and illness! MUCH PRAYER IS NEEDED......MUCH PRAYER!!!

I have been 'working' with various pharmaceutical companies seeking support as the Philippines Womens Department attempts to open a medical clinic. We will always be in need of medical supplies and would very much appreciate any type of medical assistance available. Dr. Samuel Hunter (of Atlanta, Georgia) has blessed us to 'VOLUNTEER' his medical expertise and serve as our Medical Director for the distribution and administration of medical supplies and services!!!

P R A I S E G O D ! ! ! !
In all things (even our bleakest moments and situations) we SEE GOD ! ! !

There is SO VERY MUCH I NEED TO SAY about the spiritual and physical needs of the people of the Philippines that we as Saints in this Grand Old Church need extend ourselves to help them with...........
Another area of need is that of clothing.........Did you know that we can ship 300 to 400 pounds of clothing to the Philippines for about $ 50.00!!! If anyone would desire to donated new or 'gently used' clothing for children and adults, I would be very pleased and excited to accept your donations. There are so very many that do not have ANY clothing........AT ALL!!!!! I know God did not intend for man to live like this......BUT PRAISE HIM FOR HIS SON!!!!!!!

ANOTHER NEED...........Among Many.............
The Bliss Christian C.O.G.I.C.
Not very far from the renowned Clark United States Air Force Base is a village (up in the mountain area). The village is basically women and children (with a few men), but most of the children in the village are the 'off springs' of the U.S. servicemen stationed at the air force base! Many of the children have African-American fathers and what's more amazing............the ENTIRE VILLAGE has been saved and is CHURCH OF GOD IN CHRIST!!!!! ........ THE ENTIRE VILLAGE!!!!! The Holy spirit has moved and the entire village has gotten SAVED..........PRAISE GOD!!!!!

We need to assist them in improving their lives, the lives of the children and prepare them to eventually evangelize and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ!!

The people of the village walking over water on an 8 INCH plank to get to church. They are being led across the plank by Pastor Marcardo.

Mother Copeland (in the yellow skirt) in the streets of the C.O.G.I.C. village where she has ministered with the local pastors to save souls for Christ!

SHE NEEDS OUR HELP & SUPPORT!

I really need everyones attention concerning the children of this island country!

MANY, MANY children are left at the church doors by mothers, fathers, brother or sisters who can not care for the babies and we need assistance to care for the abandoned children!

Presently, Mother Forto (the bishops wife) is caring for approximately 40 orphaned children & babies. We shall be placing these children on the Mission Department's Website (SPONSOR A CHILD PROGRAM).

PLEASE, PLEASE show these children the mercy and love Jesus has shown to us.........sponsor them for food, shelter an education and exposure to THE WORD OF GOD.
