TESTIMONIES

TESTIMONY OF SERGEANT ERIC J. BLAKELY

God has allowed a clear path for His work to be done in the hearts and lives of soldiers that are either living or transitioning through my active duty station. I started a bible study group the first week I arrived here in January 2003. Another brother the Holy Ghost revealed and introduced me to began to help me spread the word for inviting those that would come out. Through the bitter cold and inclement weather, God brought people out. Soldier's lives began to change and many have accepted Christ as their savior, continuing in salvation even through their various transitions.

3 months passed, and the group had multiplied from an initial 3 people to over 50 consistently. God has been blessing and continues to save, correct, and heal those who call upon and accept Jesus as Lord.

This group elected to start a church body, vote on the name and officials, and we moved forward with Saturday evening services. I established training for evangelism support teams to go out on Sundays to support the work God had already begun in the region after the Lord revealed Deut. 22: 1-4 as the foundation scripture for the teams to support the region.

Although all of this sounded and seemed great to the group and to those that heard about the work, it really wasn't what the Lord had stated through a prophecy that went forth from and for this group, and the Kingdom Work for these people. Being the elected Pastor/Leader of "Trees of Righteousness" here I prayed for the Lord to reveal why people stopped supporting and coming out in such a short time. Literally, the group/church diminished from over 70 people when official votes were cast, to less that 15 when the training/work began.

God simply revealed a one phrase directive - "Focus on My Word ..."

I dissolved the official church status of the group and returned to just "Bible Study." Therefore, none of the tricks of the enemy that had came to bombard the new saints, old saints, and the "trying to be saints" would work any longer because the "Focus" was only upon God's Word and not a church or who is in charge of this, that, etc.

Presently an even more tremendous out pouring of the Holy Ghost has been taking place with the result leading to a great harvest of souls for the Kingdom of God. We have a consistent Men's/Women's bible study on every Tuesday, with group bible study on Wednesdays.

I can only conclude with a praise report that says God is God with or without us. I'm just making sure that I am "with God" and the "Focus" is always His Word.

TESTIMONY OF MAJOR VICTOR JONES

My testimony starts back in 1991 during the first Gulf War in Kuwait when God called me to preach his word. God allowed me to preach his word in a tent on the Kuwait and Iraq border. God truly blessed then and he is blessing now.

I'm currently on Active Duty station at FT Bragg, NC. With the U.S. Army Special Operation Command. I just return in November 2004 from a one year tour serving in Samarra, Iraq.

While serving in Iraq God truly blessed me. He watched over me through road side attacks, mortar and rocket attacks, and house to house raids. With all the death around me God brought me through it all.

The true blessing that shows how good God is happened when God allowed me to once again preach his word in a war zone in Iraq. I was blessed to start a weekly Bible Study and Sunday Worship services during my tour.

On a base in the middle of one of the most dangerous cities in Iraq we had church. We would pray and sing songs to the Lord and pray for his protection for our souls and our fellow soldiers.

One thing I have on most preachers is there is nothing like preaching a message in the middle of a rocket attack. When everyone starts running for cover and you just continue PRAISING GOD!

God truly touched me as well as he touches others and I'm a living witness that God has soldiers in the military. Soldiers that are serving him and spreading Gods word in every land and through some of the most dangerous times in this nation's history.

As I close this testimony I want to take this time to thank Bishop P.A Brooks for the bibles and Prayer and Bible Band Books and Sunday School Books you send for our use in our little mission in the city of Samarra, Iraq.

Major Victor Jones

TESTIMONY OF CHIEF JOHN DUCLOS

Delivered From Spiritual Bondage of Freemasonry

During my military assignment at Sasebo, Japan in 1996 I was searching for something positive to do with my life. I would notice a group of men always hanging out together wearing ball caps and fancy rings (The ring had a square and compass with a "G" in the middle). When I inquired about the symbol the gentleman said to me, "You don't know? Well you have to research it then come talk to me about it." Shortly afterward I started searching the Internet and reading books at the library about the fraternal group called "freemasons". After my research about Prince Hall Freemasonry, I had requested a petition to join the group. The individual told me before I could petition to join I had to knock first (A fraternity criteria). So I started asking around and found out that there was a Masonic Lodge #9 located in Sasebo Japan. I then asked someone I knew for a petition, filled it out and paid a fee of several hundred dollars. I was interviewed and later told I was accepted for the initiation.

I was then taken to the lodge to be initiated as an entered apprentice (The first degree). I was told I would have to remove all of my cloths except my under shorts. Then I was to put on a blindfold and a pair of pants with one pant leg lifted up and a rope tied around my neck. I was nervous so they assured me that nothing would happen. I was lead around the lodge to different seating arrangements in the east, west and south. In the center of the seating arrangements was an alter. I was asked in whom do I put my trust (I said in God because I was prompted to do so). After the process of going around to the different stations, I was told to kneel down at the alter and swear an oath and kiss the Holy Bible. My oath was a few paragraphs long but I remember that I had to swear and promise to God that I would rip my tongue out and cut my throat from ear to ear if I revealed any of the secret arts or points of freemasonry. At that time I was not saved nor serving our Lord Christ Jesus. After that night concluded I was handed a book in which I was told to study for the initiation. I was also told that in order to proceed to the next initiation I would have to commit to memory parts of what happened that night and my sworn oath.

After a month I was so anxious to do this that I studied hard and was ready for the next initiation called the fellowcraft (The Second degree). The same process took place except my left chest was exposed while my right chest was covered and rope was tied around my arm. Again I went around the different seating arrangements and was harassed and hit. I had to take another oath this time that I would promise and swear to God to rip my chest open and feed my inner parts to the fowls of the air if I revealed any of the secret arts or points.

Another month passed and I was ready to finally complete my initiation to master mason (The third degree) and become a full member of the freemasons. I would then be a part of the fraternity and feel proud to be a part of something. During this initiation I was blindfolded with no shirt on and a rope was tied around my waist. After the usual questions I was told I would have to play the part of hiram abiff, so they began the drama play and said that three people killed me and I was to lay down. They planted an acacia tree at the head of my fake grave and began a play of the completion of the building of King Solomon's temple. I was supposedly raised from the dead by the worshipful master of the lodge and placed in an upright position (Foot to foot, knee to knee, chest to chest, hand to back and mouth to ear) and some words were whispered into my ear (ma-ha-bon) that was supposedly the secret password of a master mason. I then proceeded to take my third and final oath that I was to swear and promise to God that I would sever my body in twain and let it burn if I was to reveal any of the secret arts or points of freemasonry. I was given a masonic birth certificate stating that I was now born, buried and raised to the sublime degree of a master mason.
In 1999 I moved to Misawa AB, Japan. One day shortly after arriving I read the local newspaper and looked at a listing of Church's and decided to attend Misawa Church Of God In Christ under the Pastoral leadership of Elder Keven Ward. I felt in my heart that I had to be a member of this Church and the body of Christ. I wrote a letter to the masons and told them I no longer wanted to be a part of this group. I thought I was finished with this occult group but only a few months later I joined the Prince Hall Freemasons O'Misawa Lodge #54. This group was MUCH worse than the others. Prince Hall Masons (P.H.A.) required extreme hands on and physical abuse to join their fraternal ranks. After I acknowledged Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, I joined Misawa COGIC on 21 May 2000 and was Baptized the following month. I began seeing things in different way. The Holy Spirit gave me strong conviction about the demonic influence of freemasonry. So I started asking members of the lodge about the contradiction between what the Bible says and what their mason ritual says. They just brushed me off and said that is why we don't tell people who and what we are. Shortly after, I asked different Pastor's their view about freemasonry and they all said that Jesus has no secrets. I was looking for an answer that I wanted to hear and at that time I wanted to hear that I could be both a Christian and a mason. In my heart I felt the Holy Spirit telling me to come out from freemasonry. At that point I went into a 24 hour fast (without ceasing) and cleansing of my home. I washed my face and anointed my head with oil (Matthew 6:17) and began to read the Gospel. Later on the day of my fast, I began to have pain in my stomach but continued to pray in the name of Jesus Christ and felt comforted. I threw away all books I had and got rid of all material pertaining to this group. I then anointed my home with oil. The Holy Bible (KJV) tells us that demonic strongholds are only broken by fasting and praying (Matt 17:18-21). While I thought I had won the battle, I stumbled and found myself involved with freemasonry again. At first I was questioning myself and wondering why I was playing ping-pong with the group and going back and forth. I thank God for His Mercy and His Grace. I prayed and asked God if freemasonry was not in His will for me then speak it through a certain person. When I spoke to this individual and mentioned the word freemason she immediately told me that I must come out of that unclean group. The Bible tells us in II Corinthians 6:17, WHEREFORE COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM, AND BE YE SEPARATE, SAITH THE LORD, AND TOUCH NOT THE UNCLEAN THING; AND I WILL RECEIVE YOU. After my conversation with this person I was convicted and finally set free. I went to my pastor and asked him to forgive me for leaving the Church and not listening when he tried to help me see the truth. He is a true man of God and knew that the Holy Spirit would do His job.

After being completely delivered and set free by the blood of Jesus Christ, my life changed forever. I began reading the Bible and Tithing (Malachi 3:10-11). I started serving my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with my whole heart. In 2001, I started working on my calling to the Ministry as a Deacon. And in May 2002, God put it upon my heart to start Ministering the Gospel by witnessing to people about the Spiritual bondage of freemasonry. I gave my initial trial Sermon on 11 August 2002 and was Licensed as a Minister. The light must be shed that there are a lot of Church's infested with masons that are in leadership positions and this is not God’s will. God's will is that none should perish, but that all should come to repentance (II Peter 3:9). The Lord answered my prayers for a Christian wife and on April 5, 2002 I was married.

The reason for this testimony is that Jesus Christ wants everyone to know that He already paid the price. There is no reason for anyone to join a dark occult group and get ran into the ground. He shed His blood to set everyone free from bondage. I truly thank God for setting me free. I know that He has a plan for my life and the first step for all people is to acknowledge sin and repent. I pray that my testimony will touch someone's heart to turn from freemasonry. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. (Revelation 12:11).

TESTIMONY OF SPECIALIST ERIC SCOTT

I am a member of the Church Of God In Christ. My Name is SPECALIST ERIC SCOTT. I am in the Arkansas National Guard. I am on a mission for the military name IRAQI ENDURING FREEDOM II. I am station in Camp Taji, Iraq. I am with the 4th Jurisdiction, Bishop Jerry Maynard is the Jurisdictional Prelate and my pastor is Bishop G. E. Patterson of Bountiful Blessings Church Of God In Christ. I have been a member of this wonderful church since October 1999. I have been very blessed and inspired by the many messages of my Presiding Bishop G. E. Patterson.

This is my second mission overseas with the military. The first one was a peacekeeping mission in Sinai, Egypt in 2001-2002. God has truly been my shield and protection through many dangers, toil and snares. Psalms 91:1-16 was and still is a WORD from God that carried me through my tough times. Several scriptures that have been inspiring to me are 2 Chronicles 20:17 and Romans 12:17-21 because this mission was a mission of testing of my faith in God.

I submitted my paper work to the military that I was a conscientious objector. I prayed with church members and the Elders of the church were a great help to get me inspired to assemble the correct the paper work about our wonderful church doctrine in the "black book". That book spoke specifically about members in the military concerning fighting in wars and bearing arms. I presented my information along with other information I had researched and gave it to the military officials. I feel I was given the 'run around' at the Ft. Hood, Texas military base. They told me that I would not go to Iraq, but later change it at the last hour and ordered me to fly out to Iraq. So I flew out on the 18 October 2004. I arrived in Germany still seeking God for guidance. Hours later we loaded back on the airplane and headed to Dohar, Kuwait. We stayed there for two days and still no word from my command on what they were going to do with me, but I was still trusting in God Almighty never doubting HE will deliver me and protect me from any harm.

So we flew out headed to Iraq. We arrived on 20 October 2004, still trusting in God to deliver me and protect me. PRAISE BE TO GOD he had and still does protect me here in Iraq in spite of my conviction as a conscientious objector. I want everybody to know that God DID deliver me! The military DID hear God and they DID honor my request as a conscientious objector.

They gave me an assignment that designates that I will not have to fight or harm anybody against my will.

I maintain and operate a 'computer internet café' for soldiers to e-mail back home to family, loved ones and friends. TO GOD BE PRAISE AND GLORY for delivering me from this trial.

Also another miracle.........I have not carried a weapon since I was called up for this mission! TO GOD BE THE GLORY.

I ask all the saints to continue to pray for the soldiers for soon and very soon..... WE ARE GOING TO SEE THE KING!

Master Sergeant Alvin C. Moore
U.S. Air Force

First and foremost I give all glory and honor to God who is the head of my life, it is in Him that I live, move, and have my being!

I want to begin by saying I grew up in the Church of God in Christ and came from a long line of preachers and missionaries, but I knew that just because my family was saved, that didn't make me saved, I had to have my own relationship with God. It was in 1984 that I realized a change had to take place, and I surrendered my life, that the will of God might be done in me. Not only did the Lord save me but he filled and thrilled me with the Holy Ghost!

In 1985, I had been saved for 11 months when I entered the United States Air Force. Little did I know what was waiting for me over 2,000 miles away from home. It was a place known as "Basic Training," a place that would prepare you for the Air Force way of life. God knew what He was doing even when I was wondering what I had gotten myself into! All I could do is reflect on the scripture that said "He would never leave me, nor forsake me" and God was and has been with me the entire time. I graduated "Basic" and began my technical training.

God had a plan for my life from the beginning and over the course of years has allowed me to go beyond "Basic Training" and gain experience, education, and travel throughout the United States, Japan, Korea, El Salvador, Portugal, Mexico, Canada, and Korea. God has done so much for me until I cannot tell it all!

During my travels I have had the opportunity to witness, feed, clothe and minister to thousands of souls. God had called me to do the work of an Evangelist. Not only did I receive training in the Air Force but God allowed me to be under the leadership of some of the greatest pastors around the world and I thank God that these men shared with me what He had imparted in them: Pastor R. Byrd (Seattle, WA), Supt. E. D. Kinlow (Spokane, WA), Pastor J. Harvey (San Antonio, TX), Bishop A. Buchanan-deceased (Japan), Supt. N. T. Harris (Las Vegas, NV), Supt. T. E. Hammonds (Oceanside, CA). These men built on the foundation that had been laid by my parents Deacon Alvin S. Moore-deceased and Mother Alice M. Moore.

Over two years ago God called me to pastor and entrusted me with the Jubilee Church of God in Christ in Everett, WA (District Superintendent: Admin Asst. L. Young and Jurisdictional Prelate: Bishop T. L. Westbrook.)

It has been almost 20 years since my first night in "Basic Training" and since that time God has blessed me with a wonderful God fearing wife (Maria) of 15 years whom I met in the Air Force and two beautiful children (Alvin and Alice.) As I get closer to retirement and look back over my career and see how God has kept me from danger, seen and unseen, and through several wars, I can truly say "It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, His compassions faileth not, they are renewed every morning and great is His faithfulness!!"

"To God Be The Glory!"
